Dirty Hans began painting after discovering that art provided a calming outlet for his energetic nature during childhood. What started as a passion has developed into a distinctive and recognisable artistic style.

Strongly influenced by artists such as Roy Lichtenstein and Henri de Toulouse-Lautrec, Dirty Hans combines bold imagery with a contemporary approach. His nine years living in Antwerp, together with his travels and experiences, have played an important role in shaping his artistic development and techniques.

His work draws inspiration from a wide range of sources, including 1950s culture, film, comic books, pulp magazines and contemporary art. These influences come together in paintings that are energetic, bold and deliberately simplified, creating a fresh and instantly engaging visual style.

Working primarily with acrylics and spray paint on canvas, Dirty Hans has explored both Pop Art and Renaissance-inspired imagery. More recently, he has begun experimenting with digital art and new media, expanding his creative practice into new areas.

Today, Dirty Hans continues to develop his work and attract collectors both in the UK and internationally. His paintings can be found in galleries and private collections, and his move into digital and new media art marks an exciting new chapter in his artistic career.
