Dutch PopArt artist HAYO SOL is internationally recognised for his distinctive, highly crafted works combining metal and acrylic paints, airbrushing and Swarovski crystals on specially designed silk-coated canvas. Selected large-scale works are enhanced with diamond powder, creating a striking three-dimensional effect that comes alive as the light moves across the surface.

After studying at the Amsterdam School of Arts and later immersing himself in PopArt while living in New York, HAYO SOL developed a unique style that has become instantly recognisable. Inspired by icons of art, fashion and popular culture, his work ranges from glamorous portraits to darker, thought-provoking pieces from his “Weltschmerz” series.

His work is held in international private collections, including those of H.R.H. Prince Albert II of Monaco, former French President Nicolas Sarkozy, actress Denise Richards and Formula 1 driver Eddie Irvine. His paintings have achieved prices of up to €45,000.

Often referred to as “The Vincent van Gogh of PopArt,” HAYO SOL continues to develop his distinctive approach to contemporary PopArt, combining luxury materials, technical precision and powerful imagery.
